Trama

Nel 1996, poco dopo la pubblicazione del rivoluzionario romanzo “Infinite Jest”, l’acclamato autore David Foster Wallace (interpretato da Jason Segel), concede un’intervista di cinque giorni al giornalista David Lipsky (Jesse Eisenberg), inviato dalla rivista Rolling Stone. Con il passare dei giorni, tra reporter e intervistato si crea un esiguo quanto significativo rapporto.
